| Description |
A Hawaiian rush hour on the north side of LAX, featuring a pair of United 767s plus a Hawaiian A330. The foreground one, holding just short of Runway 24L, is operating as United 565 to Kahului, Maui. The background one will soon follow as United 641 to Honolulu. United's 14 two-class 767-300s (N664UA - N677UA) primarily fly to/from Hawaii. None of them ever received the 2004-2010 Blue Tulip livery, but as of the photo date (8 December 2011), all but one have been repainted to the Continental Disco Ball look, as seen here. They will also soon receive additional upgrades, including Continental BusinessFirst seating, video on demand, inflight WiFi, winglets, and full ETOPS capability. These planes are distinct from the 21 three-class 767-300s (N641UA - N663UA) which primarily fly between the East Coast and Europe.
